Born and raised in Vermont, third oldest in a family of eleven children. Graduated from BYU with degree in Government and English. Married for 25 years to Jim Brady, mother of eight children, foster parent for more than 100 children. Worked for more than 25 years as 911 police, fire, and medical dispatcher. Recipient of numerous awards for writing including Vera Hinckley Mayhew (BYU); Mormon Arts (BYU); The New Era; World of Poetry; America's Best; Utah Arts Council Literary Competition,(twice); nominee, Georgia Book Award.
