Bill writes from his experiences as a police detective and SWAT team member. He attributes the hair-raising stories to the heroic actions of his fellow officers—the hair-brained stories, well, he can’t imagine how he came up with those.
A native of Washington, Bill graduated from Washington (the real Cougars) with a master’s degree in English. He began his career as a high school teacher and football coach, but soon heard the call of the mean streets—okay, they weren’t that mean—and he signed up to serve and protect. Either that or he just wanted to drive fast and shoot guns.
Bill enjoys reading, writing, music, skiing, an occasional game of racquetball, and eating dark chocolate—not necessarily in that order. He loves the Seattle Mariners, he loves his big red motorcycle, but most of all, he loves his wife and two daughters. Retired from police work, Bill and his family now live in Midway, Utah, where he writes action novels and eats dark chocolate—not necessarily in that order.
